All gauges for panel mounting or special services not covered by these speci fications shall be approved and/or specified by the Engineering Department. In . such cases, gauges with chemical protectors and snubbers siiall apply. L. COIL PIPE SIPHONS (PIGTAILS) Siphons or the equivalent seal pot or trap shall be used on all gauges in steam service. The siphon shall be uninsulated to enable free radiation of heat and condensation of steam within the loop.
