I was wondering how it is proceeding, and whether or not I could be of any help? If so, I would be only too happy to meet to contribute in any way I can. When I met you, I mentioned that I was to visit the States. While in the States I met Maurie Johnson of B. F. Goodrich, Carol Stack of the Chemical Manufacturers' Association, and spoke to Ted Torkelson of Dow. The Americans are exploring the possibility of an independent epidemiologist reviewing all the epidemiological data base in order to provide a critical review of the VCM literature. I was asked by the American doctors if someone like yourself would be prepared to take on such a task. The American VCM Industry agreed that they would be happy to fund such a project. If you feel you do not have the time to undertake such a project, 1 should b grateful if you could tell me of another world-respected individual whom you feel would be suitable for me to approach.
