'December1 5? 1955 pr. Graham Edgar Ethyl Gasoline Corporation Chrysler Building Bow York City her York Boar Dr, Edgars I hare written to Dr, Fairley about the situation In Australia which i discussed with you and I am sending you herewith a copy of m y letter which expresses m y point of view about the problem. It would seem to me that within a reasonable period of timo whatever advantage Is to be gained from this method of demonstration will have been achieved, and this matter can be disposed of in the proper manner. I can think of no other wa y of solving it at the present time 'without stirring up difficulty, but if any other method of improving the situation occurs to you or suggests itself as being worth some cor respondence with Mr, fully, 1 hope you will go ahead with it. I distinctly do not like the principle of maintaining a situation in. which wholly unnecessary exposures, even of a hypothetical type, exist, The fact that Dr, Fairley has considered these exposures potentially significant and feels that it is necessary to examine these men at times, is in: itself a somewhat unsatisfactory situation and yet 1 can not advise him to ignore this factor of potential exposure even though tinder ordinary circumstances. I believe, the matter to be insignificant* '- Very truly yours, RAKsis Robert;1A , "KehoeV""mT d 0015468
