Environmental Protection Agency Region 4 Air Enforcement Branch 61 Forsyth Street, SW Atlanta, Georgia 30303 INSPECTION REPORT Facility Inspected 121 West Marietta Street, Suite 100 Canton, Georgia 30114 Inspection Date: December 14, 2022 Facility Programmatic ID AIR 0400000013057EPA27 LAT: 34.2320 LON: -84.4910 Inspection Type Clean Air Act (CAA) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) - Asbestos Inspector Pamela Storm Introduction An inspection pursuant to Section 114 of the CAA was conducted on December 14, 2022, at 121 West Marietta Street, Suite 100 in Canton, Georgia 30114 (the facility). The unannounced inspection was conducted by Pamela Storm who possesses EPA inspector credentials to conduct CAA NESHAP asbestos inspections. Permit #2204-042 was obtained from the City of Canton on May 23, 2022, for the interior renovation of the facility to include the addition of a bathroom to the facility. According to this permit, this bathroom would include a three-compartment wash sink, a hand sink, and a mop and utility sink. The facility is being renovated to be used as the back office/roaster warehouse for Bizarre Coffee. The purpose of the inspection was to determine compliance with the CAA NESHAP Asbestos Standard and the regulations promulgated at 40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M, for the renovation activity conducted pursuant to this permit. The EPA Region 4 CAA NESHAP asbestos program targets facilities for inspection located in the State of Georgia based on tips/complaints; permits issued on a local level; and demolition and/or renovation/abatement notices sent to the State. This inspection was conducted based on the previously mentioned permit. Facility Information The permit states that renovations of this facility would consist of the addition of a bathroom to the facility to include a three-compartment wash sink, a hand sink, and a mop and utility sink. These renovations could not be seen at the time of this inspection since the EPA inspector was unable to enter the facility. Inspection Inspection The door to this facility was locked at the time of this inspection. The address number #100 was visible over the top of the doorway outside of the facility. The EPA inspector observed through the front window that the facility appeared to be a small office space in front opening into a larger back room. The inspector could not see a bathroom or tell if renovations were ongoing during this inspection. The aforementioned renovation permit was applied for by Horizon Commercial Roofing and listed Bakner Manufacturing, LLC as the owner of the facility. Conclusion The EPA inspector will follow up with the owners/operators of the facility and the renovation activity, as deemed appropriate, to obtain information and necessary paperwork related to this renovation activity. This information will include, but not necessarily be limited to, copies of asbestos inspection reports, renovation notifications, and waste shipment records for the facility.
