Referring to your fax of 15.9.93* 1 can give you some precisions ebout the Angiosarcoma of the i-iver (ASL) Register.
1 succeeded Dr Jack Drumwright one year ago and APME (Association of Plastics Manufacturers In Europe) gave me the responsibility for maintaining the ASL Register. The update of the Register is now ready and the new edition will be available in one month time. In fact, for confldantlallty reasons we have decided to edit two Registers. One Register, intended for the management, will contain tables and graphs. The second Register, which will be sent only to the medical officers, will include also medical data and plants codes.

1 am a research manager for product safety for Vista Chemical Company. You probably know that Vista Chemical Company is a member of the Vinyl Institute. In fact, it was Dr. Jack Drumwright of Vista who maintained the world-wide angiosarcoma registry for some years on behalf of the Vinyl Institute.
It is my understanding that you are now responsible for maintaining angiosarcoma registry for the Vinyl Institute. I believe Vista may have even provided you some information for the registry.
We are currently reviewing data on vinyl chloride-related carcinogenicity and were wondering if a more recent update of the registry has been published. The last version we have is dated 1991. Is this the last update? If so, any there plans to update the registry in the near future?
I would appreciate any information you could provide about the status of the registry. If possible, I would like to request a response by facsimile (512-331-2387) this week, because we are trying to assemble the information as quickly as we can.
