FIRE-RESISTANT FLUIDS FOR HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
Pydraul50 hydraulic fluids were developed to meet the m i in industry for a line of fire-resistant hydraulic fluids. In V oil and gas industiy, these Pydraul fluids are used in ns tensioners, heave compensators, guideline tensioners, ami blow-out preventers. Pydraul 29 E-LT and 50 E fluids tr Factory Mutual approved; they pass the spray test (1,000 p^i spray through propane flame); channel iron test (sp> iy impacting 1,3007 red hot metal), and the hot manifold n s; (Federal Standard 791, dripped on 1,300 F Manifold) Pydraul fluids do not foam or corrode, and they are avail die in viscosity ranges that ensure smooth operation and mmo' equipment response. The following Pydraul fluids are t1 .isu most frequently used in offshore hydraulics.

FIRE AND EXPLOSION-RESISTANT AIR COMPRESSOR LUBRICANTS
Many ait compressor explosions and receiver fires can be traced to the use of petroleum oil lubricants. Oil niisls and films in the air compressor systems oxidize to a carbonoxygen complex. Accelerated by heat, pressure or triggered by shock-wave - oil mists and residues break down into combuslible gases that can explode and/oi ignite in the air lines and receivers. Pydraul air compressor lubricants were designed to ensure safer air compressor lubrication. In use since 195-1, the fire-resistant Pydraul compressor lubricants provide excellent lubrication, allow minimum maintenance, and offer maximum safety to critical compressor installations. The following Pydraul lubricants are specifically designed for use: ir, air compressors.

HIGH TEMPERATURE (Aircraft-type) HOT-GAS GENERATOR LUBRICANT
Skyluhct'-1 AbO )u\nicant is an improved Type II lubricant for jet engine gas generators used as power sources for indus trial turbines. It meets in all respects the performance specifications of major manufacturers, such as General flociric's GE-D50TFL and Pratt & Whitney's PWA 521B. Skyluhe 450 has extreme resistance to high temperature decomposition and oxidation degradation. Engines operated on Skyluhe 450 lubricant over the past four years include these classes: JT3D; J78D, JT1?, F7-4, and SPEY; plus Aifieseaich 'Turbocompressors & Air Cycle Machines and Suridstrand CSD's.

HIGH HEAT, HIGH PRESSURE RESISTANT TRACTION LUBRICANTS
Santolrac traction lubricants are a new family of syniln ; hydrocarbon lubricating oils and greases developed fui traction drives. They are lubricants with `'grip" that inert the traction coefficient Lretwecn driver and driven rolhnu. surfaces from 40-80%. The film separates metal-tu met.' contact at pressures up to 500,000 psi, and operntt'- at temperatures up to 300%. In laboratory wear tests, Santoim; lubricants approximately double the life of standard roll' ' bearings. The synthetic hydrocarbon base has been fomu; lated into four liquid lubricants and two greases. Santolrac 3; has the lowest operating temperature capability; Santotr<i50, the best balance of properties for most uses, medium viscosity, good anti-wear in sliding contact. The Santotim greases have the h ghest traction coefficient of any lubri cants known.
