Mike, Allow me to introduce you to Kathy Benedetto, our lead political appointee in BLM.
Kathy, Mike used to run the Nevada Governor's office in DC, among other things. He's a good friend, and apparently has some questions he'd like to ask you.
Thanks, Scott Scott J. Cameron Acting Assistant Secretary for Water and Science, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy, Management and Budget Office of the Secretary of the Interior Desk 202 208 0969 Cell 202 706 9031

Scott, I don't know that your office handles this, but my client Newmont Mining has a Notice Of Availability for a the Phoenix project expansion in Nevada pending review at BLM in DC. The tracking number assigned from the State Office is 1567.
This was sent to BLM in DC several months ago and has yet to be sent to the Federal Register.
This has resulted in the project being delayed, job losses and other negative consequences that go with a delay.
We have had Senator Heller, Governor Sandoval and Congressman Amodei contact BLM to request a status, but the best we can learn there is no plan to move this any time soon.
Would you be able to suggest any other steps we can take to move this routine notification forward?
Thanks.
