Dr. 3. A. Kehoe
Dear Dr. Kehoe:
VJheu Dr. L'achle was here last week, we had quite a dis cussion of a new idea relative to a further course of presenting our tank cleaning instructions to individuals who may be actually engaged in the tank cleaning operation#
Our Hew York division has suggested that '.t o print a small booklet containing the tank cleaning story as well as an expression on the means of avoiding the hazards which we know to exist. It is felt that if such a booklet is available it can be given out by our men to the foreman or other members of tank cleaning crews. Obviously, the booklet will be very inexpensively gotten, up and we can afford to pass them, out in large quantities.
There is attached hereto copy of the typo of booklet which we have in mind, as well as the copy which has been suggested. '.Ve pass this along for your criticism and suggestion, both as to the idea itself as well as the form and copy to be contained therein.
Personally, I think the copy is entirely satisfactory with the exception that I do not believe the marked statement should occur on the first page of the booklet. I think this message could be more effectively used elsewhere in the booklet.
Since the copy for this booklet is mostly a resume of .statements which have beer, agreed on and approved, I do not think that it should take you very long to go over it, and if you are in a posi tion to give u.s your comments in the next few days, we can have a. sur ely printed and in use very soon.
Very truly yours.
