Curtis, Medical Director Standard Oil Company of California 225 Bush Street San Francisco 20, California Bear Curt: I found a series of examination records on my desk when 2 returned home, which came from you or members of your group, I 2 have no information about them, and since my secretary, who received them, is away and left me no note or other y/ord, I am at some loss concerning them. There are only a few ana I presume rjiat others will follow. Viaat disturbs me somewhat, probably unnecessarily, is that they are not complete. For example, in some instances there is no information as to a second round of laboratory findings (blood picture and routine urinalysis). I have only just returned from my vacation, and you may conclude that I am "trigger-happy" in mentioning these matters at this time, but it seems wise to get in this work as early as possible. It is important that we have the same kind of information that was provided on the initial records, so as to be able to make valid comparisons on a "before and after" basis. If there is any question about your doing the examinations in this manner, please let me know.
