Stultz The following Information dealing with flexible graphite sheet gasket materials was obtained from the Union Carbide Carbon Products Division (1-800-342-3698) and from the Houston area distributor, Lamons Gasket Company, (222-0284). (1) Die cut metal reinforced gaskets are available through Lamons, on local basis. (2) Sheet "Grafoil" material is available locally in 24", 26", and 39-3/8" square cut sheet sizes. In 1/32", 1/16", and 1/8" thicknesses (2-4 mil metal insert thickness). In styles "GHS" (316SS wire mesh reinforcement), "GHG" (tang type carbon steel reinforcement sheet), "GTB" (total grafoil - no reinforcement sheet - 1/64", 1/32" and 1/16" thickness) and "GHE" (tang type 316 stainless steel reinforcement sheet in 1/32", 1/16", and 1/8" thicknesses). (3) Metal reinforced laminate grafoil sheet material is readily cuttable to nonstandard geometrical sizes and shapes with the use of heavy duty Industrial grade scissors or sheet metal tin snips.
