Ker

In order to obtain the soundest castings and the most consistent results from
centrifugal force it must be properly applied and controlled The Kerr Centrifico
Casting Machine applies this type of force properly in controlled amounts It is motivated by an oversize steel spring in the base
It utilizes a secondary arm pivoted to the main arm This secondary arm car ries the flask keeping it in line with the casting force as that force changes from inertia at the start to centrifugal As result the metal travels in a straight line directly into the mold extremely dense castings are produced the gold will not spill and failures due to the casting machine are eliminated The machine is automatically operated compact and well constructed
Due to a unique system of cradles in the permanent crucible type the Rasks are attached to the arm in moment this does away with the tightening of bolts clips springs or catches and eliminates danger of burned fingers and loss of heat from the mold The flasks are automatically centered with the permanent fireclay crucible which will hold sufficient gold for any size casting without spilling The crucible is light in construction so that it does not draw the heat from the gold
The Kerr Centrifico Casting Machine fulfills every requirement It is an effi cient casting machine which will give long service and pay big dividends in
satisfactory dense uniform and consistent castings It provides an important
link in modernizing the laboratory and enables the user to get full value from the space occupied by that laboratory

KERR PULP CANAL INSTRUMENT
CASES
Suggested by Dr. Edouard M. Hall
The requirements in modern pulp canal operations necessitate that the operator have an abundant supply of instruments and materials to be used in the operation for quick and easy access and in aseptic condition
The case has a classified arrangement of trays with the idea of quick and easy
access to the diversified instruments required all of which when put into the case in sterile or aseptic condition are kept in that state by the use of formaldehyde gas provision for which has been made
The trays are arranged to accont modate the necessary supply of all
,
sizes of styles B and D Files Reamers and Barbed Broaches when placed in the separate compartments and also take care of other instruments and materials needed in an operation Each tray can be removed from the case separately if desired
It is an all aluminum case and
can be sterilized by placing in oven if dry heat preferred

In the progress of doing a root canal operation the operator often finds himself in need of some means of sterilizing instruments that have been used before they can be used again
This alcohol sterilizer has for its purpose a means of keeping sterile and of resterilizing instruments that have been used so that they can be used over and over again in the same operation as long as their efficiency permits Also of providing containers for alcohol to be used as a dip in the process of faming
