Dear Cul: I am very much pleased at what you have done and are planning to do in reference to gasoline burning appliances, as outlined in your letter of June 14. Moreover, we shall he very happy to help you in any way ve can in the conduct of any portion of your work that comes within our province. As to the means of testing to determine whether the lead in fuel remains in the stove, you will probably need very little advice from us. On the other hand, I am sure that Mr. Cholak will be glad to discuss this subject, and when it comes to the means of collecting and analyzing that portion which escapes, I believe he can make suggestions based on his experience, which will be helpful. Might I suggest that when this reaches the point where you would like to sit down and talk it over, you come along and see us or let us know, and Cholak will come up to see you? In some respects, since you are planning to do the work, the latter might be most satisfactory. Either means would be better in my belief than any attempt to make random suggestions in rela tion to types of equipment with which ve are not very familiar.
