Gardiner, President S. F. Reeves, Tice President A. M. Wilson, Vice President L. T. Beale, Director The meeting was called to order by Mr. J* W. Gardiner, who presided, and Mr. A. M. Wilson reported the minutet of the meeting. The minutes of the meeting of hay 7, were read and approved. Hr. Beeves reported the following comparative operating figures for the month of April and the first four months of 1944 and 194$, including estimated taxes but without including Bew York overheads April First four months 1944 - profit # 1,122.84 1944 - profit #48,751.61 194$ - profit $2,560.12 194$ - profit 48,684.2$ hr. Gardiner stated that the Metal Department currently had a backlog of 180 tons of Core Solder orders for current and future shipment. There was a general discussion on the Temple Research Department*a activities. The coneensue of opinion was favorable to this project* Mr. Wilson stated that our application to proceed with the erection of our new Linseed Oil .Refinery had been submitted to the War Production [/ Board. It is felt that a decision on this project will be forthcoming within the next four to six wookc. The regular report of deliveries for the week ending May 18, was submitted by Mr. Wilson.
