H. V. HUNDLEY, CINCINNATI BRANCH MANAGER, RETIRES; APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED H. W. Hundley, manager of the Cincinnati Branch since 1943, has retired after forty-seven years of Company service, effective June 1. S. R. Hollingsworth becomes manager, metal division, of the branch; C. J. Sunnan, manager, paint division, and W, W. Howard, man&ger, pigments and oils division. Administrative functions of the branch, including accounting, credit and purchasing, are now under the direction of George A. Dewey, Company comptroller, and manufacturing, warehousing and shipping operations are directed by Fhilip C. Muccilli, Company production manager. Mr. Hundley joined United Lead Company in 1907 on the metal sales staff and in 1918 became manager of the Cincinnati office of United Lead. In 1928 he was appointed assistant manager of metal sales for the Cincinnati Branch and branch manager in 1943. Mr. Hollingsworth began his Compajiy career in 1934 at the Perth Amboy plant. In 1937 he was transferred to the Georgia Lead Works as factory superintendent and in 1942 he moved to the Cincinnati Branch. He was named assistant sales manager of the metal division there in 1943, sales manager in 1945, and assistant manager of the Cincinnati Branch in 1948. Mr. Surman was employed by the Company in 1930 as clerk to the superintendent of the Cincinnati Branch plant. He became a member of the sales staff in 1932, and sales manager in charge of paint, lead-in-oil and painting products in 1948. Mr. Howard, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, joined the Company at Cincinnati in 1950, as a salesman in the raw materials department, and was appointed senior technical representative, pigments, oxides and chemicals of the branch in the following year.
DIEHLMAN IN NEW POSITION IN ATLANTIC BRANCH George Diehlman has been appointed manager of raw materials sales for the Atlantic Branch. Mr. Diehlman began his Company career in 1915 at the Brooklyn research laboratories' metal protective coating department. He was appointed sales promotion manager for protective coating paints in 1949.
TITANIUM METALS OFFICES TO BE MOVED Titanium Metals Corporation of America offices will be located, effective July 1, on the 11th floor of the Woolworth Building, 233 Broadway, New York City. This move will consolidate the offices formerly located at 60 East- 42nd Street and 111 Broadway.
