10 This is a memorandum written by a Johns-
11 Manville employee. It is a memorandum regarding
12 Mellon Institute of Industrial Research symposium on
13 dust problems, January 15, 1935.
14 On or about December 12, 1934, the Mellon
15 Institute of Industrial Relations addressed letters to
16 some 85 industries having industrial disease problems
17 inviting them to attend a meeting to be held under the
18 auspices of the institute on the 15th day of January.
19 It is my opinion that one cannot find a
20 better indication of the seriousness -- excuse me, of
21 the serious nature of the problems it was the purpose
