Levey, President of McGraw Construction Conpany, Inc., concerning the availability of physicals for our employees working in the regulated areas of the Coke Ovens at Armco Inc., Middletown, Ohio. I am enclosing a copy of the Coke Oven Emissions Standard 1910.1029 and 1910.1029 (p) Appendix "A" and "B", which contain requirements for Medical Surveillance on Pages 800 and 801, and Medical Surveil lance Guidelines on Page 806. At the present time we have four (*l) employees working in the reg ulated area of the Armco Coke Ovens. They are equipped with Wilson 1200 Series Inter-changeable Respirators, which are approved by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). The monitoring requirements of the Coke Oven Standard are being accomplished by the Industrial Coranission of Ohio Division of Safety and Hygiene. This information is being forwarded in anticipation of our request for physicals described in the enclosure. Please call if I can be of any further assistance.
