We regret the late date. However, a decision to go forward with the Washington Workshop was not finalized until the September 1,1981, Executive Committee Meeting. Nonetheless, we think you will find this year's program as interesting and informative as in past years. The philosophical turnabout in fiscal and regulatory policy ushered in bv the Reagan Adninistration has made possible a greater degree of interface between government and industry. Yet, at the same time, proposed budgetary cuts will inpact on the already depressed state of the construction industry and, in turn, the A/C pipe business. Now, more than ever, it is essential that a constructive dialogue take place between government and industry representatives so reasonable, viable solutions to mutual problems are forthcoming. This year's Washington Workshop will explore what changes, what opportunities, and what challenges may be in store for FY 82. Oi behalf of AACPP and the Board of Directors, I want to extend a cordial welcome and express our appreciation for your interest and involvement. i- i CAPCO JEN 0033230 AACFP WASHINGTON WORKSHOP VI Old Town Holiday Inn Alexandria, Virginia October 13-14, 1981 Preliminary Program TOESEAY, OCTOBER 13, 1981 6:30 D.m. - 10:00 p.m. Welcoming Reception & Dinner 219 Restaurant ***** ratNESIWr, OCTOBER 14, 1981 9:00 a.m. - 9:20 a.m. Opening of Workshop Carlyle Room 2 Lloyd C.
