In support of this removal Jurgiel .and Associatescollected air samples on September 5, 1984 to determine fiber release during the.removal. The four workers removing the insulation had been trained in asbestos removal and wore the required protective equipment. The removal area was secured with asbestos warning tape and portable warning signs. The insulation was wet d :wn before removal and during clean-up activities. Results of personal and area samples i..iicated that removal procedures were effective in controlling fiber .release. The. results'.of. our. monitoring Is contained in .the. attached table...
