Review PMSB Meeting: o PMSB approved SHAC alert on hard hat rules. SHAC wants SAC to provide policy judgment on hard hat and safety glasses to/from Electrical Shop, Instrument Shop, Applications Building, Carpenter Insulator Shop and Zone 4 Maintenance Office. SHAC recommends that the wording of the policy be changed to include the exception of the above locations. o SHAC would also like SAC recommendation for hard hats at Salvage, Gate 3 and CED - Gate 4 (present practice is to not wear hard hats in violation of rules). SHAC recommends that hard hats be required in these areas. This MUST be resolved prior to issuing SHAC alert. 2. Continue with ''Armored for Safety" 3. H.S.C. o Vic Osbum will attend next HSC meeting. o SHAC will address HSC method of membership selection and present charter. 4. Quarterly Inspections o SHAC will contact other plants regarding information on competition safety/house. inspections (Kos, Hammann and Schwab).
