Mr. Stang made a preliminary investigation of the bending shop in the above-named plant in response to a complaint received from Mrs. Dsvid R. Turnbull, 3215 College Avenue, Beaver Falls, Pa. It was impossible to visit the bending shop because of a strike but Mr. Stang interviewed Mr. F.A. Weber, Personnel Director, who said that he was unaware of the condition which caused the complaint. Mr. Weber promised to see that the blower on the polisher would be repaired. When the plant resumes work, an engineer of the Pittsburgh office will make an inspection of the operation.
