Thank you for your kind letter of I do not know where you got the im pression that I might have been disappointed with your paper in Pittsburgh; the contrary is the case. Any disappointment I had was that the previous speakers monopolized part of your time and that the program as originally scheduled 'was not carried through. I was thoroughly absorbed, as usual, in your account of the recent investigations you conducted in Cincinnati on small amounts of lead and I am looking forward to a receipt of your com pleted study when it appears in the Journal of In dustrial Hygiene and Toxicology. I tried to look you up after the morning session was over but you w e ren't at the luncheon and I must have missed you in the shuffle. That afternoon I had a few busi ness visits to make in Pittsburgh and did not have a chance to express personally my appreciation of your appearance on the program and again talking to you about our common problems in lead.
