Open Hearth Slag Transportation: Proposals for routing of the railroad for handling Open Hearth slag were reviewed at a meeting with Armco. It was agreed that Open Hearth slag would be moved by rail over the existing loop track and by truck over existing roads to the slag durrp. Both the loop track and roads are to be repaired to permit handling additional traffic. 2. Building Insulation: The advantages and disadvantages of the various types of insulation products available were reviewed during a meeting with Armco Metal Products Division and Owens-Corning-Fiberglas.
