Questions:
What are your priorities as Energy Secretary? You want to see a return of US energy dominance, how do you intend
to do that? Is access to cheap, abundant energy the difference between poverty
and the wealth of nations? And has access to cheap, abundant fuel transformed humanity? Is one of the problems in the West that most people are energy blind? They don't understand how central fossil fuel is to the lives they enjoy. Over the past decade, we've heard a lot about Net Zero. Are you seeing a greater recognition of "energy reality" in the United States today? Instead of focusing on Net Zero, should we be aiming for zero energy poverty instead? What will your argument be when the Europeans (and Californians) say you are endangering the planet? When you look at Europe and the United Kingdom, is the economic stagnation you see directly linked to the decision to abandon fossil fuel?
How important is energy security for national security? The United States still depends on Russia for some of its nuclear fuel.
How do you intend to make break that dependence? I'm from Australia. We have one third of the world's known uranium
