At time o f inspection, .Ur* Hertrick, asst, plant mgr., did not know duration o f asbestos
exposure, Mr. Pacheski indicated that this duration was 5 or 10 minutes for once or
twice a day. No asbestos was Ming used this day.

Following a plant inspection, a survey wag cooduoted on 2k Jam 196k to
evaluate employees' exposure to asbestos dust. Arrangeaonto for the survey war
made with Jtr, Raymond Dronafield, plant engineer,

batch mixers with various f i l l e r s and veh icles and packed in cans and drum.
The batch sixers are equipped with lo ca l exhaust ven tilatin g systems. When
charging te c mixers, the operators are required to wear respirators approved by the

operator* spend apprcodsately two hour* a day at the mixing operation. The balance
o f the workday i s spent performing duties not involving the use o f asbestos.
