We are reproducing for you r information Bulletin No. 83 received frGa Carey-Csnadian Mines, Ltd. in which they relay product infor mation concerning asbestos fibre.
We wish to re-emphasize the last sentence in their bulletin which we quote - "Although our tests indicate similarity between grades it does not always follow that a user will find the same similarity in his production." It is very important that any consumer of asbestos fibres test a sample of Carey-Canadlan'a asbestos fibre comparing it to his present source of supply. Many times we can show the customer an advantage in using Carey-Canadian fibres and in some cases, the products listed In this bulletin as being comparable to a competitive product is not comparable in this particular customer's formulation. The asbestos Industry does not have tests which will always indicate' the various physical charac teristics which will effect a particular formulation, hence, the necessity for testing a sample before substituting.

1. in the very near future the mine will ac^oiuicje high bulking 7F, 7H antVlt grades which will chenge the designations of the above medium builds; SEfiaes to 7F*5, 7H-5* end 7X-5. . Under Short Grades we have listed comparable grades by our test method* from the two largest competitors only. We listed no comparable grades to our 7k-3: 7TS-1 and 7BF-9 which means to cur knowledge Canadian Jehns-MsnvilLe and Asbestos Corporation Ltd., do not produce equivalent grades* Although our tests Indicate similarity between grades it does not always follow that a user will find the same similarity in his production.
