Results of monitoring show there are no anticipated adverse health effects. No additional actions are required. These findings are based on operations and practices in effect at the time of monitoring. DISCUSSION Monitoring for asbestos was performed on August 17, 1989 as part of the facility's Exposure Monitoring Program which is designed to assure ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state and Company health standards. One employee in the Vehicle Test Department (5460) was monitored for nearly six hours to determine the level of potential exposure to asbestos while performing brake inspection/changes. Results of monitoring showed that the employee's potential exposure to asbestos was well-below established standards and action levels (see attached data sheet).
