I hope you found the conversation as informative and helpful as we did. As discussed, the inclusion of water infrastructure in the upcoming infrastructure package provides a key opportunity for our two organizations to partner together. BPC would be honored to have the EPA participate with BPC's Executive Council on Infrastructure in a strategic national conversation regarding our nation's treatment works and water systems. Across America we are faced with challenges to replace critical water and wastewater infrastructures and having EPA weigh in on these issues, and consider viable solutions would be extremely valuable. Another idea that BPC would like to explore further with the EPA, Department of Interior, and the Army Corp of Engineering is how each organization is incorporating innovative finance tools as it addresses the growing crisis in water and wastewater infrastructure. Federal, state, and local concerns, programs and lessons learned would be shared. This important dialogue will contribute to the ultimate goal of making smarter, more informed decisions to modernize the U.S. infrastructure and ensure the health, safety and security of our communities. As the agency moves forward with its deliberations over future air regulations, please feel free to reach out; we'd love to share with you the insights we gained through our work on the CPP. Lastly, Jason Grumet would be honored to meet with Administrator Pruitt to discuss a wide range of energy and environmental issues. Please let me know how we should proceed with scheduling this meeting in the next month or two. Thank you, again, for your interest in the impactful work that the BPC is undertaking to find bipartisan solutions to our nation's critical issues.
