Louisville 2, Ky. Dear Dr. Kitten
I haye your manuscript and assure you the susmary is satisfactory. You indicate that you would not nind a slight change. I suggest that on ;4s 0 10th line from bottom, you change the reference to Lehman's work to read "eilicotics were much less efficient" instead of savi ng, as you now do, ''ailiootios were only half an e f f i c i e n t I happen to know Lehman's work protty thoroughly, as . I asked him to write the article and translated it myself. This does not change the sense of your sentence but simply puts it aa a less quantitative basis than the way you worded it. Unless 2 hear to the contrary I will assuam you have no objection to this change.
Us expect to publish your psper in the February issue. In view of the importance of the subjeot, byssinosis, I do not believe there will be any objection on the part of the program committee to publishing a couple of months ahead of the meeting at which ths pr.per night be presented. If Mr. Bloomfield or Dr. Kehoe have any such objection I would aek that they write me immediately. For their inforoation, the paper will be about three to four pagea of our standard manuscript sise.
Sincerely yours.
