April 2, 1970 Dr. David B. Peakall Senior Research Associate Section of Ecology & Systematica Division of Biological Sciences Cornell University Ithaca, New York 14850 Dear Dr. Peakall1 I Just read your recent article in the April, 1970 Issue of Scientific American and was reminded of your request for a xerox copy of Monsanto Technical Bulletin 306. I apologize for the delay, but I attempted to get a copy of either the old or the revised bulletin. All old ooples have been given to the many individuals who made requests. A revised version has been de layed indefinitely until more information about PGB's regarding degradability, toxicity, etc. is obtained, I am enclosing a copy of Monsanto Technical Bulletin 0-FF/l. Since it contains much of the baslo data which was in Bulletin 306, I thought you might find it useful. Concerning your question of the production figures for these compounds, I believe you'll understand that slnoe the uses of these compounds represent a highly competitive situation I am not able to forward the production information. Sincerely, W. B, Papageorge Manager Environmental Control MONS 0S7419
