G reece. - Large a sb e sto s d e p o s its 00 to 90 m eters deep have been found in th e M ikrovalton-Servia a rea of th e Kosane Province in Western Macedonia by the Greek I n s t i t u t e f o r Geology and Subsurface Research. An o p tio n to develop th e d e p o s its was g ran ted to th e Kannecott Copper C orp., New York, U.S.A., by th e Greek Gore rn p a n t which approved Kannecott*s a p p lic a tio n t o spend i n i t i a l l y $70,000 f o r la r g e - s c a le ex p lo ra tio n .
