We discussed alternative employment opportunities, part-time vs. full-time employment, retraining opportunities, his physical health and his present lifestyle. Mr. Price indicated his physical condition restricts him from numerous activities. He tires easily and must rest periodically throughout the day. Mr. Price is very cautious with any physical activity and is hesitant to overexert himself physically. He spends his time gardening, enjoying his grandchildren, and bookkeeping duties for his church. He states that it is necessary for him to rest approximately every two hours when involved with the above activities. He expressed some concern that his driver's license was restricted and issued for six months, since he has been classified disabled. We discussed the possibility of Mr. Price seeking employment and the pros and cons of full-time and part-time employment. However, Mr. Price indicated that he felt his physical condition would not permit him to work. We discussed his interests in real estate and electronics and the possibility of persuing those interests vocationally. However, Mr. Price indicated that at one time, he checked into obtaining a real estate license through Kent State University, Ashtabula campus, however, he felt the class schedule of eight hours a day would be too demand ing on him physically. At this time, he states he is not physically capable of persuing alternative employment or job retraining. Since Mr. Price is not interested in a work rehab ilitation program or retraining, we are unable to provide rehab ilitation services for Mr. Price at this time.
