The minutes of the meeting of December 26, 1957 were
duly approved.
Upon motion, the following applications for appropri
ations were duly approved.
$ 5,074.00: Contribution; Membership Subscription to Lead Industries Association, including Health and Safety, from January 1 to March 31, 1958.
9,150.00: Atlantic Branch; Overexp.. Transfer of Lined Products to Magnus,from Perth Amboy, N. J. .
5,325.00: Baroid Division; Purchase of Two Rigs, Houma, Louisiana.
2,223.00: Doehler-Jarvis Division; Installation of Air Agitation, Grand Rapids #3 Plant, Michigan.
1,185.00: Public Relations Department; Painting of "House of the Future" Exhibit, Disneyland, California.
Titanium Division - Mac Intyre Development 35,176.29: Additional Appropriation for Acquisition of
Part (Section 2) of a Proposed Railroad Route from Tahawus to Lake Champlain, Tahawus, New York. 4,379.88: Replacement of Mine and Village Service Truck (Old truck will be sold for $1,307.). Titanium Division - Sayreville Plant 7,302.00: Repairs to Elevated Water Tank. 20,405.00: Annual Inspection and Repairs to "C" Unit.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the following
preamble and resolution were unanimously adopted:
WHEREAS, it is the intention of National Lead Company, a New Jersey corporation, to apply for patents from the Government of the United

States for its certain placer mining claims, veins, lodes, ledges and mineral deposits and premises situated, lying and being in the County of Big Horn, State of Wyoming, and known as Desert No. 2-E, Desert No. 5-B, Desert No. 17-A, Desert No. 21-B, DesertNo. 22-A, Desert No. 29-F, Desert No. 31-A, DesertNo. 35-C, Desert No. 39-A, Desert No. 39-B, DesertNo. 53-C, Desert No. 57-G, Desert No. 58-D, DesertNo. 61-A, Syncline No. 4-A and Syncline No. 8-H Placer Mining Claims.
Now, therefore, be, and it is hereby RESOLVED, that A. V. Castelli, of
Lovell, Big Horn County, Wyoming, be, and he is hereby, fully authorized and empower ed for and on behalf of this Corporation and in its name to do all acts whatsoever necessary or proper for the purpose of mak ing and completing said applications for and procuring the patents for said mining claims, and to make and file such affidavits or other papers necessary or required for the procuring of said patents for said mining claims and premises.
