This product has replaced the old setting type compound called One-Day. We no longer use the name One-Day. From now on this product's trade name is "Speedset." Speedset has two setting times; 1 hour and 30 minutes, and 2 hours and 30 minutes. The working time for these two products is approximately 30 minutes shorter than the setting time. Thus, Speedset with a 1 hour and 30 minutes set time has a working time of about 1 hour, and Soeedset with a 2 hour and 30 minute set time has a working time of.about 2 hours. The Speedset bags will be marked with 1 inch red letters stating "2 hr. working" and"l hr. working". This is to distinguish between the two materials. j ^ i These products are competitive with U. S. G.*s Durabond 90 and 180. Speedset can be used for both taping and finishing. It is desireable, but not absolutely necessary, to use a primer before texturing. In other words, this setting type joint compound can be used to bed tape, spot nails, and finish coat without worrying about burn thru of paints or textures. Complaints of hard mixing, excessive thickening, and a hard working material have been overcome in the latest formula. Please inform the appropriate people under your supervision about this improved product.
