Attached are area data summaries, summaries of excursions above 5, 25 and 100 ppm VCM and a listing of all excursions observed at or above 100 ppm VCM. Also included in this report and in all future reports is a summary of readings exceeding 1 ppm. Points #9 and 20 in the Reactor Building were removed from normal service on 9/2/75 and 9/5/75 respectively. These points are currently being used to define a clean air source for the proposed capsule in the Reactor Building.
The Plant has been in operation seven days for this report period running at about 70% utilization. The following summaries are taken from a tabulation of 25% of the data or one set of readings per hour.
The Reactor Building showed 552 readings > 1 ppm, 4 excursions "> 25 ppm and no reading 7 100 ppm.
The Pilot Plant showed 317 readings > l ppm, 2 excursions 7" 25 ppm and no readings 7 100 ppm.
The General Area showed 139 readings 7 1 ppm 9 excursions 7 25 ppm and no readings 7 100 ppm.
The Lift Station showed 86 readings > 1 ppm, 2 excursions ^ 25 ppm and no readings 7 100 ppm.
The Parshall Flume showed 12 readings 7 1 ppm and no excursions 7 25 ppm.
All readings greater than or equal to 100 ppm are tabulated in Table IV. Nine readings at or above 100 ppm occurred during this report period reflecting four separate incidents. Three incidents occurred in the Reactor Building affecting the center aisle, stripper #1 platform, knock-out pots, day tank area and the west wall between the old styrene tanks. One incident occurred in the General Area affecting the tank car unloading area. No incidents occurred in the Pilot Plant during this report period.
