Good morning.
At 10:00 a.m. today, the State of Michigan's Line 5 Alternatives Report will be released and will be available at the following link: www.rnipetroleumpipennes.coni. The report identifies and compares alternatives to the existing pipeline and has been commissioned to help inform decisions regarding the future of Line 5.
We want to stress that the report is not final and various aspects may be influenced by public feedback. We have developed a robust public comment plan and we invite you to submit comments online at www.mipetrogeumpspelines.com. The public comment period begins on July 6.
As you are aware, last Wednesday, the State was forced to terminate its contract with DNVGL related to the Line 5 Risk Assessment due to an incurable conflict of interest. We are releasing only the Line 5 Alternatives Report today while working through how best to address the need for an objectively independent Risk Analysis on Line 5.
