7 November 16, 1948 to a Mr. Bowes from Dr. Vorwald at

10 this, but this letter recites the fact that the
11 experimental study of the effects of inhaled Kaylo
12 dust on normal, uninfected animals is now finished and
13 the conclusions expressed on that subject are final,
14 rather than tentative.
15 It then says, in all animals sacrificed
16 after more than 30 months of exposure to Kaylo dust,
17 unmistakable evidence of asbestosis has developed
18 showing that Kaylo on inhalation is capable of
19 producing asbestosis and must be regarded as a
