Two sources mill be locked in the on-off position on a permanent fixture. The exposure units mill be so constructed that radiation levels at the surface of the unit in off position is less than 2ar/ hour. The exposure unit will be used with collimators so con structed that the radiation field will not exceed 2 sr in any one hour except in the collimated beam. This beam is small and provided with a shielded back stop. Operating personnel will be protected with all necessary safety features arxl properly instructed in working with radioactive materials.
