McKay - New York Dear Hugh Bob Naylor sent you a copy of subject issue and called to your attention O'Connor's report on deaths caused by materials used in this market I am attaching a letter which I received from John March on this subject and I strongly urge we institute a program to take asbestos workers in the various areas of the country and give them a thorough physical examination to determine through proof that there is no harm to human life from contact with glass fibers I certainly don't recommend that we make any big splash about this but feel that we should defend ourselves and make available to the trade in a reassuring way cases where we have examined people and found that there was nothing harmful from having contact with fibrous glass products In other words we should conduct a good reassuring defense for such accusations as are made by people like Mr. O'Connor I will appreciate your thoughts on this matter Best regards 1
