Kehoe, Dear Dr. Kehoe: Referring further to your letter of July 1st with regard to Kendall Refining Company having been reported as making split drum mixes, Tom Ronan in a recent visit to Bradford obtained the unqualified statement from Mr. Crawford that they had not Split drums in any of their mixes at that refinery and that he has insisted on the men following the procedures laid down when Mr. Kaley made the original mix. He is completely at a loss to understand how the men showed signs of lead absorption. This is about the report that you would expect in this case but we think that he now appreciates our position in the matter and we have his guarantee that there will not be any split drum mixes made in his plant in the future.
