Requestor: Elizabeth Craddock - VP of Policy and Government Affairs, on behalf of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC). Purpose of the Meeting: IADC is holding an offshore member WDC fly-in to meet with Congressional Members as well as agency officials who have policies that may impact lADC's offshore members. Background on the Meeting: IADC is a trade association representing the interest of the upstream oil and gas industry, specifically, the drilling contractor. Our members who are coming to DC represent the largest companies (Transocean, Rowan, Ensco, Noble and Diamond Drilling) operating in the Gulf of Mexico. Our members would like the opportunity to meet the Administrator, give him a status update on the state of the U.S. offshore drilling industry, and review a few issues that are under EPA's jurisdiction. (Please see attached letter sent in February). Role of the Administrator: To meet and connect with lADC's members while they are in DC. Ideally to listen and understand industry's point of view and take that information into consideration when moving forward with future EPA policies.
