Mr. Lillis called to the attention of the Board an article in "Good Housekeeping" on
the danger of toys painted with an enamel containing more than 1/100 of 1!~ of lead.
It ?ras pointed out that wc- can formulate without lead driers and rithout dry colors
containing lead but that it rould be very expensive to manufacture rithout even a
trace of lead.
