We hove just recently gotten our dust counting program underway and samples are taken through the joint efforts of the Quality Control and Industrial Relations Departments. This program thus far has proven to be very time consuming and with other work that must be performed by this department, we must make every effort to reduce the amount of time spent an each project. Including our dust control program. It would appear that our Condensation Carrier, Texas Employers Insurance Association, would be interested in our dust program and would likewise require that samples from all stations be forwarded to them. Incidentally, Texas Employers have taken samples In the past and I assume at no addition al cost to J-M. Is It required that we forward samples to the Travelers Insurance Cospazqr? If so, can they be sent spasmodically, say, as the regular saiqple Is taken? Perhaps, if there Is no additional expense to J-M, arrangements could be made with Texas Employers to have samples taken and counted by their technicians.
