Wolshons Materials & Standards Westinghouse Electric East Pittsburgh Pa Engineering Corporation Dear Mr. Welshons Enclosed herewith are my proposed changes for Westinghouse PDS 2060 I have endeavored to include herein all of the discussed during our recent conference provisions that do not meet with however proposals proposals there may be some free to express your opinions your approval If so please feel You will note that I have not set forth the tensile values for 2060-2 2060-3 and 2060-7 strength These have been left because I have not had an opportunity to test enough such open cloths to make authoritative recommendations will endeavor to procure such cloths from our members so that those figures may be obtained I am sure I can make the necessary tests covering 2000-2 however do not believe that anyone in our organization supplies the 10.4 and 7 ounce cloths called for in the last two classes and cannot there- fore assure you of any results for these If you would like to have me run such tests on cloths you might furnish I will be glad to do so I wish to thank you and Mr. Atkinson for your considerations and cooperation in clarifying the subject specifications and assure you that the Institute will be glad to work with you at any time regarding problems involving asbestos textiles Vory truly yours ASBESTOS TEXTILE INSTITUTE Myril C.
