T ese consist of the following} , 1. "Regulations governing the Transportation of Motor Fuel Inti-Knock compounds*M 2. "Regulations for handling and mixing ETHYL Fluid by means of barrel equipment and for related activities." (English and Spanish( General and Special regulations for mixing ETHYL Sluic with gasol:ine. (English and Spanish in placard form for posting.) The man you have assigned to supervise and report on ship ments and transfers of ETHYL Fluid should be guided "& / N9. 1. No. 2 applies to all persons supervising, handling or otherwise fiirectly concerned with the use of ETHYL Fluid. The various sections indicate the special regulations pertaining to specific phases of the work and are, I believe, self explanatory. Section V is slightly different as it concerns the cleaning of tanks used for gasoline containing ZTEYL Fluid. It should be noted that some equipment differing from that usea in the mix ing of ETHYL Fluid with Gasoline is required for this work. Also as regulations of section V apply to the cleaning of stor age tanks wherever such storage tanks are located, we would be grateful tp you to tee that this operation is carried out in accordance with this section for those points to which you sup ply gasoline containing ETHYL Fluid where the tank cleaning comew undei* your jurisdiction and we would appreciate if you will advise us those points supplied by you where the tank cleaning d[pes not come under your jurisdiction. The blender has been directing the transfers as outlined but has not been submitt ing report. Reports for future transfers are promised. The mixing platform is undersize for the number of drums stored. The Platform can be extended and this shall be done. The cannister masks are now used for blending.
