re: ARCGLOR 2-year tot Feeding Studies

* The attached table summarises a comparison of tht 3 revised AROCLOH reports (1242, 1254, 1250).
i
' In 2 instances, the previous conclusion of ''lightly tusorigenie" T.' * vis changed to "does not appear to be carcinogenic". The latter 1
phrase is preferable, Kay m request that the AROCLOH 1254 report be acended to *ay "does not appear to be carcinogenic''.
The number of hepatomas reported for AROCLORS i860 and 1242
have been interchanged. This appears to have arisen from con
fusion regarding the nuabering of the animals. The original
reports show tumors lr. anlsala with numbers in the 100-300 ring#
for AROCLOH 1260 and in the 500 to 800 range for AROCLOH 1242.
This leads a to conclude that tha nuabering scheat shown in the
second set of reports Is correct. With AROCLOH 1254 confusion
is conpounded. The original report showed turners in anlsals
with numbers In the units to teens, but the revised report shows
animal numbers ranging frea 4o to 1000, Can this be straightened
out?
.
1 was unable to reconcile tht differences in tha animal nuobers between tha first supplemental report and the original reports, 1 had inquired as to the changes in the numbers. As I recall,
2 was told that the sections had been renuaoered when the new slides were made and that a kty relating to the sets of numbers
