Dr. Vi H a r d Machle, 61G Park Avenue, New York City 21.
Dear Bill:
V received an envelop from you today containing two glass slides on which there were blood films from J. A. Michlaski.
The two slides were very nearly shattered, and therefore I suggest Mie advisability of your having somewhat better equipment for sending
them to u s . However, we were able to find two pieces big enough for examintion, and on these no stippled erythrocytes could be found.
Confirming our telephone conversation I anticipate being in Detroit and in attending Me Cord's shindig. Barring accidents, therefore, I should have a chance to discuss a number of matters in whatever detail is necessary.
Sincerely ycurs,
IAK ef
