Aluminum Paint No. 95
A very popular aluminum paint for exterior or interior
use. Furnished in double compartment cans with bronze
powder. A high quality product very bright, covers ap
proximately 1000 sq. ft. per gallon one coat and dries
dust free in 4 hours and hard in 24 hours. Heat resist
ance O.K. to 300 degree F.

Silverbrite Aluminum No. 429
Where there is & demand for an aluminum in paste form,
Silverbrite No. 429 is the ideal product. In this form
the aluminum is composed of finer particles than it is
possible to obtain in the regular aluminum powders. The
finish resembles a plated silver surface giving a silver
sheen effect, showing no brush marks or crevices. Covers
approx. 1000 sq. ft. per gallon one coat. Will dry to
touch in 4 hours and hard in 24, heat resistance up to
300 degrees F.

An aluminum paint with paste bronze for interior and
exterior surfaces that will not blister nor discolor up

An aii^drying Black Japan with a high gloss and medium

rough castings, boilers, sheet iron work, etc., where
ever an economical finish is desired. Should be reduced
25/ with naphtha or reducer for brushing and 50/1 for
dipping.

Floor Enamel

A rapid drying high-class enamel paint made to walk on.
Expense has not been spared in the manufacture of S-W
Floor Enamel; consequently it has no equal for dura
bility and dependability. Wood, concrete and cement
floors finished with this enamel will stand hard usage
and repeated scrubbing with soap and water. Covers about

Galvite
(Galvanized Iron Primer Gray)
Galvite adheres to the metal, provides tooth for the
finishing coats and has durability. Covers approximately
1000 sq. ft, to the gallon and dries in 12 to 24 hours.
A perfect undercoater for galvanized iron is required
if flaking or peeling of the finishing coat is to be
avoided. Even the best primer should not be applied- to
new metal until they have been washed with one of the
recommended chomicals.

Gas k Fume Resisting Paints
This.is a superior quality house paint, which will give
maximum protection on wood and metal exterior or interior
surfaces. They dry for recoating over night, with the
enamel gloss finish. Approximately covering 650 sq. ft.
per gallon, one coat. As the name implies, this product
is adapted to resist gases and fumes such as sulphur,
etc., prevalent around Industrial Plants.

Commonwealth Paint

Metalastic Paint
This is a combination graphite paint with water shedding
qualities characteristic of carbon and graphite paints.
It is recommended to be usod as a finishing coat over
Kromik Metal Primer and S-W Galvanized Iron Primers. It

Kronik Motal Primer No. 74
Our standard primer for metal work of all kinds, except
galvanized iron, which is to be exposed to moisture. It
costs less than Red Load, works easier and costs less to
apply. It is made with lead chromates, which prevent
corrosion of motal and withstands sulphur compounds in
the air. A tough shop coat which stands up under ship
ping. One gallon will cover from 600 to 700 sq; ft. to
the gallon. Sec color card for further description.

Rod Oxide Primor
Rod Oxido Primor is made sololy to supply tho decani for
a low pricod forric oxido primor. Where tho best type
priming is desired, Kromik Primer No. 74 should be recom

In an effort to help you with your customers in selecting a netal primer, the Sherwin-Williams Cc. have given us ar. honest discussion on red lead priners based on their many years experience and research.
"Red Load is ono of thoso octal pignonts which wide and general use has made standard. It is an extremely heavy pigment, of a vivid color, rather more pink than orange. Like all pigments, Rod Lead has its propor uses and its limitations.
"It does serve certain purposes well but in many cases we consider its use to be extravagant, because less costly paints will perform the same service better and more economically.
"ADVANTAGES - Highly resistant to softening action of water when submerged, it is, therefore, useful for underwater surfaces of chips and structural steel in contact with water; and the inside of metal tanks holding water.
"DISADVANTAGES - Red Lead is more costly than other paints.. "Low spreading rate. "It is affected by some sulphurous fumes which turn it black. "Not recommended as a finishing coat."

SAVE-LITE FINISHES
"Save-Lite Finishes" is a name which identifies a lino of interior industrial, cr mill white finishes. They are supplied in eggshell, gloss, and flat; also in Fu:-o Resist ing Type for surfaces where extreme gas and funs resisting conditions exist such as battery rooms of Public Utilities, and a vast numbor of places outlined ir. your Portfolio Savo-Litc booklet.
This is the "whitest" paint made and inasmuch as it is washable, and has very large covering capacity it is the nest economical paint of its kind on the market today. SaveLite has unusual "diffusing" properties different than a regular flat or eggshell white. Save-Lite can bo applied to any surface of wood, metal, brick, concrete, plaster or composition board.

clear weather. Easy to apply by brush, spray, or narking

High Hoat Spoke-Stack Black No. 303
A heavy bodied coal tar base paint for use as a general
heat resisting black for use on stacks, boilers, etc., where
the tomporaturos vary considerably and where high heat re
sisting paint is requirod. Should be applied one full coat
over either hot or cold surfaces with no reduction. Has
good gloss and dries in fron four to twelve hours on cold
surface. Covering capacity, approximately 200 sq. ft. per
gallon.

Interior Water Tank Coating
Interior Water Tank Coating is a black coating for the
interior of water tanks. It will not impart odor, color,
or taste to drinking water, providing sufficient time is
allowed for drying. Drying period of 24 hours should be
sufficient time if conditions are favorable. It is an
elastic air drying black coating which never dries tc a
brittle film. It possesses ertremoly good adhesion and is
an excellent rust proofing agent. May be applied by either
spraying or brushing and should be applied as it cones from
the package for brushing, or reduced 15 to 20 with petroleum
spirits for spray.
