The exhaust system appears to be adequate for fabrication needs, and each piece of equipment seems to have sufficient exhaust characteristics. It is assumed that the dust collector serves the sander, although your layout drawing does not show a galvanized duct to the sahder. Collecting the material in polyethylene bags is good and should be continued. This will apparently eliminate the need for a cartridge respirator to be used when emptying the collected material. In line with your forecasted work load and your current insulation needs, it is not recommended that relocation of existing equipment be undertaken. In view of recent findings on the subject of asbestos, it is suggested that shop engineers and supervision consistently maintain the high degree of cleanliness that has been maintained in the past.
