The regulations as set forth in Bulletin No. 163, 1926, and amended June 28, 1946, has as its primary purpose the placement of tetraethyl lead warning labels on pumps distribut ing gasoline for publio consumption. It did not consider the labeling, of equipment on mobile and stationary equipment in airport installations per se. Personally, I see no reason why the'signs as adopted for public dispensing pumps would not apply in this case, but I am wondering why the question is raised. Is there any specific reason why there is a desire to place these labels on refuelers at airport installations? I would be interested in knowing,if you oould advise me. Sincerely yours.
