Kehoe, M.D. Kettering Laboratory College of Medicine Cincinnati 19, Ohio Dear Dr. Kehoei It certainly was nice to hear from you by way of your letter of April 25, 1961, and to learn of your willingness to undertake the revision of the APHA report, "Occupational Lead Exposure and Lead Poisoning." I advised Mr. Francis B . Elder of APHA, in a letter dated May 3rd, and recommended that your offer be accepted. A copy of this letter was sent to you. I now have the report of the action taken by the APHA Committee on Evaluation and Standards. They "moved and voted to advise the Occupational Health Section of endorsement by E & S of the idea of revision and to urge prompt action, including in the report appropriate reference to hazards of lead to children." This clears the deck for action and we now are counting on you to proceed with this Work.'. : ... .. . ' /; , . ..... Will you kindly let me know of your plans as soon as you have had a chance to crystallize them. Sincerely yours Fred R. Ingram, Chairman Occupational Health Section, APHA FRI :mi ccs Francis B.
